Tangled (aka "Rapunzel"): Japp, es soll wirklich schön werden

Der Starttermin rückt näher und näher, und ganz langsam aber sicher erreicht Rapunzel beziehungsweise Tangled einen Status, der den hohen Erwartungen an die Optik des Films heranreicht. Zumindest, sofern wir Steve vom TAG Blog einen guten Geschmack zutrauen (und ja, das sollten wir an dieser Stelle):

There's some nifty footage of the fairy tale's settings, with light streaming down through towering trees, verdant landscapes, a huge castle. What's on display has the flavor of some of the older hand-drawn features, viewed through a CG prism. The brief scenes with Rapunzel and Flynn are beguiling.

Whether the splashy art direction and establishing shots add up to a feature that earns a big opening weekend and five or six weeks of staying power, I donno. That will probably depend on whether the story fires on all cylinders.

We'll find that out in November.

Fassen wir es kurz: Visuell beeindruckend, die Vorzüge eines Zeichentrickklassikers mit einem aufregenden computeranimierten Touch, wie die Story funktioniert wissen wir noch nicht.

Ach, bitte, bitte lasst die Handlung genauso gut sein oder gar noch besser...
